MyV5 myV5 is an application start-up and management utility designed to work with multiple CATIA environments.  Suppliers to major OEMs usually need to work with the customer’s environment settings and standards which often results in multiple CATIA desktop icons, settings directories, etc. –in short an administration nightmare. Using an easy to configure common graphical user interface, myV5 manages multiple customer-specific CATIA V5 versions, licenses and additional products for all platforms. Simple user interface Start icons on the user’s desktop are no longer required.  The design engineer simply selects the desired start configuration for CATIA V5 from a clearly arranged tree structure.  Centrally managed permissions settings control what each user can see and / or select  stopping the selection of high-end licences by users engaged in low-end activities.    Other features myV5 can be run as a batch process from other applications, such as PDM systems.  Other programs, such as office applications or CATIA V4 can also be launched (depending on operating system and software compatibility).
