Significant growth in SmarTeam business during 2008

Intrinsys have been the UK leaders in SmarTeam for many years, having first adopted the software in 2001, before it was part of the Dassault Systèmes suite of products.  During this period, Intrinsys have been involved in numerous SmarTeam implementations and have created a number of dedicated customisations developed to meet specific customer requirements.

In conjunction with work carried out for its clients, Intrinsys also supports its parent company, Integral Powertrain with its SmarTeam implementation, which provides the backbone upon which Intrinsys have been able to develop a suite of bespoke tools to extend the capability of SmarTeam.  Customisations and configurations are first produced for Integral Powertrain, piloted and then validated prior to use in other installations.

One of those developments has been the creation of I-SDE, Intrinsys-SmarTeam Design Express, which is founded on Dassault Systèmes' SDE product, but with additional enhancements to make the product more industry compliant and robust.  I-SDE provides a fully templated route for the rapid deployment of SmarTeam, thereby reducing the impact on the client's business and deployment costs.

Part of the growth of SmarTeam accounts has been attributed to customers choosing to switch from Cadtek to Intrinsys after Cadtek left the Dassault Systèmes CMP channel to focus on SolidWorks products. 

Intrinsys is now recognised for having developed a wealth of knowledge when it comes to SmarTeam and with a team of 7 application engineers with over 28 man/years of experience; Intrinsys is now the UK’s leading Business Partner in this domain.
