Dassault Systèmes signs up Intrinsys to support 3DVIA Composer
Intrinsys have been selected to sell Dassault Systèmes 3DVIA Composer software. Intrinsys provide engineering design consultancy and PLM application solutions to many renowned customers in the automotive, aerospace and yacht industries and look forward to working with customers on this new software product.
3DVIA Composer changes forever the way you create, update and distribute product documentation. By reusing CAD data and bills-of-material information, 3DVIA Composer revolutionises the product documentation process for businesses of all sizes.
With its easy-to-use, desktop content-creation system, 3DVIA Composer effectively automates the documentation processes. Prior to 3DVIA Composer, the process was a costly, error-prone exercise which often required using images pasted into a Word document. By using 3DVIA Composer, businesses can quickly and easily automate their documentation processes while reducing costs and improving quality. 3DVIA Composer allows production of product documentation to be concurrent with the design of the product.
Based on a lightweight, open, XML-based architecture, 3DVIA Composer allows non-technical users to create associative 2D and 3D technical illustrations, product documentation and animations directly from CAD data, while end users can seamlessly incorporate bills-of-material (BOM) data in their output deliverables. 3DVIA Composer encourages reuse of 3D product data in departments such as sales, marketing, customer service, training, support and manufacturing.
